The Grand Massif is excellently served by flights to Geneva airport, which is around an hour from region by car. Lyon and St Etienne airports are farther away (around 2 and a half hours) but are another option to consider. There is an excellent choice of airlines flying to Geneva, Lyon and St Etienne. There is a daily coach service (four times a day) from Geneva Airport that stops at Taninges and Samoens.
As regards costs, budget on spending approximately £35 each way on tolls, whilst petrol is now around 70 pence per litre for unleaded, and 50 pence per litre for diesel.


By Coach and Train
